As a proud Montana resident and employer Aspen Air is proud to be attending our regions’ meetings and to contribute to the success of this program.
The Main Street Montana Project carries the slogan “A Business Plan seal of montanafor Montana by Montanans." And indeed the initial effort required significant work in the form of statewide roundtables in 2013 to gather the input from all walks of life and regions of Montana.
Released just last April the plan identifies 5 pillars which are:
1. Train and Educate Tomorrow’s Workforce Today
2. Create a Climate that Attracts, Retains and Grows Businesses
3. Build upon Montana’s Economic Foundation
4. Market Montana
5. Nurture Emerging Industries and Encourage Innovation
Initiated by Governor Steve Bullock the project is intended to be a “…dynamic and ongoing process.” The plan is based on implementing strategies and solutions aimed at addressing the five pillars as they fit into each of the 5 regions of Montana. Regional meetings and updates will provide feedback to the overall group and progress will be documented and shared.
