With the recent bitter cold spell around we often take for granted the ability to get in out of the cold and to warm up in the comfort of our own homes. However for some the cost of keeping the heat on is sometimes too much as other necessities like food, shelter and medicine eat up what little resources are available. That is why Aspen is a proud supporter of Energy Share of Montana.
A non-profit organization that helps upwards of 3000 Montana families a year with emergency bill assistance this organization helps families in need all year round. Their services also include help securing weatherization, endowment funds, safety inspections on home heating equipment among other services. Aspen chose this organization because of its grass roots help it provides directly to those most in need in our own backyard.
